Supported by the City of Cockburn, our Coolbellup Service is a much-loved community hub. The location is surrounded by beautiful big trees and houses a variety of services from Toy and Street Libraries, together with our regulated Cockburn Early Learning Programs (ELP) for children aged 0-5 years, and adult education programs.

Meerilinga Training College shares this location with various community groups, the local community health nurse and our regulated Early Learning Programs (ELP) for children aged 0-5 years. The Educators in the ELPs frequently use the park next door to educate and inspire a love of nature in our children. The importance of nature-play and healthy lifestyles has also influenced the design of our outdoor play area.

In addition to trainer support on practical placement in a Regulated Early Education and Care Service, students regularly engage with our ELP enabling them to learn practical skills in the workplace whilst being guided by industry qualified and skilled Educators. Our blended classroom delivery supports a consistent approach for learning, allowing students to put their theory learning straight into practice, as they work towards completing the required practical placement hours for the course.

Students have access to free Wi-Fi, kitchen amenities including tea and coffee making facilities, and a fridge and microwave for their food.

The service is located on Winterfold Road just off North Lake Road in Coolbellup. Nearby are the Kardinya Park Shopping Centre and Beeliar Regional Park. It is a short walk from nearby bus stops connected to bus route 513.
