The Job Ready course is a skill set comprising 4 units of the full qualification. It is a taster program for those who would like to try out Early Childhood Education and Care. For others it is a way of getting four units of competency completed which can be used to show prospective employers that you have the drive and capacity to achieve the remaining units by the traineeship model. You can then complete the remaining units while you work. The full course covers all the units of competence and runs over 37 weeks. We offer classes during school hours and we break for the school holidays. Provides an excellent work/learn balance to help you achieve success without too much stress on your daily commitments.
A traineeship is on-the-job learning. You need to be working at least permanent part time 20 hours per week at a regulated centre to qualify for a traineeship. Your trainer then visits you every six weeks to deliver training / assessment at your centre. You can proceed through the units at your own pace. You are supported by the trainer who can assist you between visits via email/phone.
We offer a hybrid mode of delivery. Our classroom courses are delivered two days face to face at the chosen location and the third day is via virtual class using Teams. We feel that is how our learners get the best of both worlds.
Our trainers are fully qualified to support you if English is a second language. We get you to take an online Literacy Quiz to assess what level of support you require. We then draw up an individual Learner Support Plan to support you achieve success in your studies.
