Maria Legaspi

Trainer and Assessor

My name is Maria and I have 12 years experience as an early childhood educator and am a mother of two beautiful daughters. As an educator, I strive to embody key qualities that I believe are crucial for supporting the growth and development of each child, and understand that each child is unique and develops at their own pace. I believe children have the right to create, explore, discover, and learn through hands-on activities, and should be engaged with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to understand their needs. I am deeply passionate and committed to providing the best possible learning experiences for young children.

Now as a Trainer and Assessor, I want to show all students their strengths by valuing them, their culture, and backgrounds, by also building positive relationships with both learners and my colleagues. In class I aim to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where learners can thrive emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. My goal is to inspire a love of learning in each student and lay a strong foundation for their success as a future Early Childhood Educator.
