Our logo represents the mission of Meerilinga to improve our community through the promotion of positive childhoods. Based on Urie Bronfenbrenner’s theory that a child’s environments directly affects how they learn and grow, our logo explores the holistic and integrated approach of our Centres as we create welcoming places for the child (inner circle), the family (middle circle) and community (outer circle).
Many of our classes take place at our Early Learning Centres, which allows our students to experience this mission for themselves, including by making Meerilinga’s Early Learning Programs accessible for parents who are studying at the Training College.
