The CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and care traineeships combine training and paid employment, leading to skills and qualifications that are recognised by Industry employers across Australia.

This qualification is open to educators who already hold a Certificate III level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Successful completion of this course can progress your career as a qualified educator towards a leadership or managerial role in early education and care or university entry.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, implementing, and managing curriculum in early childhood services in accordance with licensing, the National Quality Standards, duty of care requirements, and the management staff and volunteers.
• Use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations.
• May have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other educators.
• Plan tailored educational programs to enhance children’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
• Introducing children to the exciting world of learning, nurture their wellbeing and help them establish a foundation for their successful future.
